The People behind this year's Fourth of July Celebration
Submitted by WarrenJaycees on Thu, 05/08/2008 - 12:19The Warren Jaycees for 60 years have done an outstanding job bringing to Warren one of the premiere events on the 4th of July any where in the area. But, due to their lack of membership, they've asked for some help. Everyone on the new Committee is dedicated to keeping this great tradition alive. A lot of people do not realize the amount of hours that goes into making the 4th of July a Success. It is also getting very expensive, rising to over $40,000 this year. we have many great sponsors. United Refinery Company, Blair Corporation, Betts Industries, Whirley Industries, with more coming on board shortly. But it is still not enough. We need more sponsors and more volunteers to keep the tradition alive. To help, call Wally Post at 814-723-2587 or Chris Cheronis at 814-723-1360.
