The People behind this year's Fourth of July Celebration

The Warren Jaycees for 60 years have done an outstanding job bringing to Warren one of the premiere events on the 4th of July any where in the area. But, due to their lack of membership, they've asked for some help. Everyone on the new Committee is dedicated to keeping this great tradition alive. A lot of people do not realize the amount of hours that goes into making the 4th of July a Success. It is also getting very expensive, rising to over $40,000 this year. we have many great sponsors. United Refinery Company, Blair Corporation, Betts Industries, Whirley Industries, with more coming on board shortly. But it is still not enough. We need more sponsors and more volunteers to keep the tradition alive. To help, call Wally Post at 814-723-2587 or Chris Cheronis at 814-723-1360.

Hell if Warren Cares? Well apparently some do!

Debra Dux hosts the Hell If I Care website. If you don't know it, chances are, someone you know, does. Dedicated to former local attorney, Barry Smith, HIIC started out a few years ago as a gathering of a few people to discuss what's happening in the Warren area. During last year's elections, it grew to a hotbed of political activity during last year's local elections. Read More for Debra's own words about HIIC.
